Jane, MO (November 24, 2022) – A traffic accident has been reported in McDonald County in which a man and a woman were injured. On November 22, authorities were called to the scene of an accident on Missouri State Route 90.

According to reports, a 2002 Honda Civic was traveling on Missouri State Route 90 at around 8:25 p.m. when the vehicle crossed the centerline just 10 miles east of Jane, Missouri. As a result, the vehicle struck a 2011 Mazda2. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.

Two people were seriously injured in the accident. A 34-year-old, Austin Hardin of Bella Vista, Arkansas, was transported by EMS to Mercy Joplin where they underwent further treatment for the injuries sustained. The second victim, 37-year-old Laci Daniels of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, was transported by LifeFlight to Washington Regional Hospital where she received emergency care.

The incident remains under investigation.
